LATEST NEWS August 2, 2010 KANGAROO ISLAND During May I visited Kangaroo Island and had one of the most wonderful experiences photographing Australian Sea Lions.
The beach is really a bedroom for the Sea Lions where they spend up to three days sleeping before going out to sea again to fish and so there was a degree of difficulty getting the shots. This meant many days and hours were spent waiting for the seals to wake up and show signs of life. Also, many shots were taken with them having their eyes closed but I am hoping you will agree I have been able to capture a few that show how they act and how tired they look after being out to sea for days on end. 
After Kangaroo Island I visited Flinders Ranges so keep an eye open for images from that part of the world. |
